Are you looking to make gorgeous prints that incorporate color? In this 2-step workshop, explore the art of printmaking by creating a set of prints with two different ink colors!

Learn the art of reduction block printing as you make a multi-color print that uses a single carved block. Walk through the steps of preparing your design, carving away the negative space, inking and printing your block, and then repeating the process for your second color. Working in layers, the result is a limited edition of uniquely colored art prints!

You'll be in expert hands as you discover this exciting process of printmaking.

Want to start with printmaking basics first? We offer an Intro to Printmaking session just for that.

What's Included:
- 2 hours of guided instruction
- All materials including the use of carving tools, brayers, inks, etc.
- Your carved block and printed pieces to take home!

About the Instructor:
Olivia Yuen is a local printmaking artist and sells work through her company, Liv Makes Prints. Her work is inspired by several subjects including the natural world, botany, and her cultural heritage. When she isn't creating her own work, Olivia has a day job as an art teacher in Phoenix.
