What You’ll Learn:

• The Magic of the Gathering Knot: Master the foundational wrapping knot that will anchor your hanger and set the stage for your design.

• Square Knots and Spiral Techniques: Learn how to create sturdy and stylish square knots to work each arm length, and then add fun spirals for a beautiful and dynamic design.

• Craft the Net and Finish the Bottom: Create a custom net to hold your plant pot, and finish off the hanger with a neat, professional wrap to keep your plant safe and secure.

Whether you’re a seasoned macrame enthusiast or a complete beginner, you’ll be guided step-by-step through each knot and technique, leaving with a beautiful, handcrafted plant hanger to display in your home. Not only will you create something functional, but you’ll also tap into the calming and meditative process of macrame, which is known for its ability to ease stress and spark creativity.

With a background in graphic design and a passion for textiles, Amy merges her love for design, handcraft, and teaching to create welcoming DIY and artisan workshop experiences.
