(In Studio) Indigo Dye Day
(In Studio) Indigo Dye Day
Date: Next Date TBD
Location: Sunshine Craft Co (address/map here)
Indigo is a natural plant that creates a stunning deep blue color. A magic experience, indigo-dyed items start out fluorescent green and turn blue when they hit the air!
Before we dye our items, learn basic shibori folding techniques. Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth to create resist patterns. The fabric is bound and dyed in indigo creating striking blue and white contrast designs.
