How to Create a Tissue Paper Flower
Trim tissue paper sheets to approximately 7in x 10in
Select 3 sheets of tissue paper and stack them on top of each other
Starting at the short end, accordion fold to the other short end making each fold approximately 1 inch wide
Using scissors, round each end of your folded stack to make petals
(*skipped in video, see time marker 9:30 for demo)
Find the center of your stack and twist a pipe cleaner around it
-This holds the layers together and will be the stem
Open up your accordion halves and start opening your flower layers
-Take your first layer and carefully pull it up and away from the other two bottom layers
-Be gentle and go slow as you lift the layer and create the center of your flower
Lift each layer and adjust your paper so your flower petals fill in
Double twist your pipe cleaner stem, add leaves, or stick your flower in a vase!
Admire your gorgeous creation :)
